About Me
Welcome. I’ve loved fitness and being active my whole life. I have been doing Pilates for over 15 years and it has helped me in so many ways:
It has made me more aware of, and has improved, my posture.
It helps me de-stress and improves my mental health.
It makes me feel stronger and more balanced.
Regaining my pelvic floor and core strength after each of my pregnancies.
Regaining my overall physical strength after a debilitating, year-long illness.
I just can’t say enough good things about Pilates!
I have been a teacher all my working life, having taught Spanish, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and fitness classes. I’m excited to bring my teaching skills into my Pilates classes.
I am a qualified Level 2 Exercise to Music fitness instructor and also a qualified Body Control Pilates* mat instructor.
I offer classes which:
Are friendly and welcoming.
Are unintimidating and suitable for all ability levels, including beginners.
Offer modifications to suit each individual, taking into consideration any prior injuries, limitations and/or how their body is feeling that day.
Offer time and space to step away from the busyness and cares of life, to take care of yourself.
